Finally after studying for too long...(one might say), I need to take my final exams and write a diploma thesis. Well, many students have done that, I can do this as well (at least I hope so).
So, topic.... hm, no idea...
Until March 11th 2011. Since then I´m eager to see how Japan is coping with the Tohoku earthquake aftermath. Earthquake, Tsunami, Fukushima accident. Some many possible topics, so little time. And almost no japanese language skills.
The exams went well, now I need to focus on a thesis.
A week ago i finally got accepted at Tohoku University as special visiting intern. Now its true... I´ve got go there.
My first thoughts: Yeah!.... and then? Well, kind of panic....Japanicing I´ll call this now.
But what to do now? I have a plan! "Abwarten und Tee trinken" and I´ll do this a lot in Japan!
So flights are booked, dorm is reserved. Now I really need to prepare!
Take it easy, you will do fine, I know that as your mother. As it is not your first time in Japan you will survive ;-) with Mc Donalds Japan and japanese noodle soup!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am eager to read your thesis later...
